Modalità operativa
Le 8 porte del TL-SG1016PE supportano lo standard Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) . Le porte PoE+ sono in grado di rilevare automaticamente e alimentare i dispositivi compatibili con IEEE 802.3af (PD). L'alimentazione viene veicolata assieme ai dati in un unico cavo, così da espandere la rete in luoghi in cui non è presente alimetazione elettrica e nei quali si desidera collocare dispositivi come AP, IP Camera o telefoni IP.
Protezione da sovraccarico
TL-SG1016PE dispone della funzione Port priority che consente la protezione del sistema in caso di sovraccarico. Se l'assorbimento elettrico di tutti i dispositivi PoE+ collegati è >= 110W, entrerà in funzione un meccanismo di priorità tra le porte PoE+, riducendo l'alimentazione alle porte con priorità più bassa.
